How do you intend to use the four areas of the media theoretical framework to communicate meaning and meet the requirements of your chosen brief? Product 1: Rogue magazine pages aim to please and inspire young people, as it has a focus of alternate aesthetic which is currently trending right now. I hope to make my magazine successful by ensuring my magazine brand name is bold and engaging. My brand name will also be slanted to show that my magazine is not are regular high fashion magazine, the style is wild and new. For my magazine front covers and content pages I intend to create an alternative /edgy brand. This brand will appeal to the demographic audience of young people, including classes A, B and C, there are no restrictions. Furthermore, my models will be of different ethnic background to promote diversity and self-love/appreciation. Task 4:photography/location
Locations for my photoshoot : mansfield park (chingford) Gods own junkyard (walthamstow) Southbank skate park (Central London) I chose these locations because I think they fit in with the theme of my magazine, as they are quite edgy and cool places too visit. The reason i chose mansfield park bo9s because i want on of my models photoshoot to be in a seen of nature wearing summer attire. Gods own junkyard will be used for my contents page as i wanted illuminated quotes to use as banners , as shown on my mock up. Lastly, southbank skate park was chosen because again it is edgy with cool pieces of work the youth has made.

ELLE Magazine: The reason I chose this magazine is because ELLE has chosen to feature a black model with Vitaligo which is very rare. The majority of fashion magazines primarily feature women of white colour However, Elle is clearly making a statement by writing, ‘The face of Now why difference is everything’,the message behind this statement ,to me , clearly suggests that ELLE is going to feature a variety of models with different skin tones and features. Elle is conventional yet edgy at the same time ,which is how i want my magazine to be. ELLE is conventional because of the horizontal masthead,the main cover-line,the models direct address in eye contact and the model 'Winnie Harlow' being the main image. Although conventional, ELLE can be seen as edgy , this is due to ;clothing,makeup,the slanted writing and it does not follow a three colour scheme, it contains white,pink,green and yellow. Task- name I-d and Dazed conventions : I-D: doesn't have the traditional title that goes across the model but its at thye left side of the models head going vertical. Dazed: has the traditional masthead but going behind the models head.
